Feria de la Virgen.

This morning after a very early start I go off to Santa Justa to catch a train to Madrid. Unfortunately they were all fully booked. It is quite understandable considering that the JMJ (Journée Mondiale de la Jeunesse) starts tommorrow. So instead I sat down on a terrace in Seville, to do some people watching. Today is Santa Maria and a bank holiday here. The streets were filled with men in black ties and young girls with red bows tied to their hair. It was very impressive and quite entertaining. After grabbing some lunch I sat down in the shade reading with some of the biggest olives I'd ever eaten.

Seville all decorated for la Feria de la Virgen.
