Grenada.

After an early start (had to wake up at 0500) I hopped on the train de Grenada. Three hours later, after travelling yet again through the beautiful countryside I arrived. To my bewilderment it was a lot cooler than Seville. Around 30°C at 1030.

(view from the train, the sky looks grey, but believe me it wasn't)

After my horrific hostel experience in Barcelona I decided to book a hotel. It was around €30 more for the night, but it was amazingly worth it. The hotel had recently undergone a make over and it was very fresh, modern and just perfect. But the highlight had to be the roof top terrace with a swimming pool overlooking all of Grenada including the Alhambra. It was stunning.

By the time I settled in it is was around 40°C and the thought of swimming pool just above my head was to tempting to ignore. So I spent most of the afternoon there. With some olives and chorizo and good company. The terrace was very convivial, from little chubby babies to two very blong guys from Norway who made my sunburns look like nothing.
